Our walk on Sunday afternoon felt like the first of spring, even though it was definitely still cold and still Winter!
We climbed to the top of the above hill, in order to shoot the below view.
As you can see from the path on this photo, most paths around the woods were very muddy! However, unlike when we last walked around Newmillerdam, we were prepared for these conditions!
A new and unexpected addition to the Exposed series. This former wall is situated in the middle of this heavily wooded area, I wonder what it was once used for and how long it’s been there.
Check out the rest of Exposed below, I must get around to updating the original post with the recent entries into the series!
Exposed
Past echoing into the present, buildings and structures falling into disrepair, or showing signs of adaptation. The impermanence of supposedly permanent edifices. How will these structures look in another ten or twenty years? Will they still exist? Resist the elements and remain as they are today? Change into something else entirely?
The second images is breathtaking. Almost looks like a summer day to me. Such rich greens and blues!!
