Photographing Bradford: Vignettes

Alongside wider, cityscape shots focusing on specific buildings like the previous photos I’ve posted on this blog from this series, I’ve also decided to add a series of quieter, smaller-scale vignettes to accompany them.
I shot this on my daily walk down to work. Loved the different kinds of lines through the photo. What initially drew me to this shot was the wire spray-painted yellow. I wondered why it would need spraypainting, maybe to stop cars parking over it? Although the double yellows should have stopped that themselves…
The wire has now been removed, but the spraypaint remains, maybe I’ll rephotograph and see which I prefer.
