Local Adventuring

During the period of 2020-22, I decided to embrace the lockdown restrictions and explore the local area within a five mile radius of my home. I studied various local and online maps, and used walking, running and cycling to investigate routes I’d never taken before. I found these excursions to be essential in getting my family and I through unprecedented times. I have since continued to revisit these routes during different seasons and come to appreciate their presence even more.
