A thought-provoking piece from Matthew Poburyny focusing on the language used when talking about photography.
Another fantastic edition of
’s My Morning Muse newsletter sees her discuss the topic of journaling as a way of engaging with her photography. She also released an excellent article looking at the Daybooks of Edward Weston!
Also, a great piece in Susanne’s Visual Journal showing a series of recent diptychs.
Process Thoughts Behind the Images Submitted for Werkhaus Zine
I recently submitted six images from my Exposed series for Workhorse Collective’s Werkhaus Zine. I’ll talk about each image and it’s inclusion in the required six images for the submission below! This house is in nearby Rothwell, and was the starting point for the project. I’d driven through Rothwell for years, to and from the kids’ football sessions, ebfore one day glancing across while stopped at the busy junction you can see in the background of the photo.
In case you missed it last week, I published my process thoughts on my submission for Workhorse Collective’s Werkhaus zine. I analysed the six photos from the submission, taken from my wider Exposed series.
A great piece from
focusing on signage in the US.Marcel Borgstijn published the first edition of the Darkrooms Magazine. Kees Molders and Kjetil Karlsen’s contributions are particularly great!
Paper Arts continues their Evolution of a Small Project series, this time concerned with how to choose a signature image for the project.
Thanks for the shout out!
Thanks Paul. Great round up, and very nice of you to include Darkrooms Magazine.
